Social media feedback

Feedback from our social media sites

This is our actual video that we uploaded onto our social media sites.
We received many comments on our uploaded videos on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Our first social media site that we uploaded it up onto was Facebook
From our Facebook page when uploading our music video we received feedback from our followers/audience within Facebook.

This is a few comments that we received -

Female Comment -
The Video is good overall however I would say that you could improve on the length of shots as usually music videos are more up to speed.
Male Comment -
The video had a good selection of different shots which was effective.

Our next social media site that we uploaded it up onto was Instagram
On Instagram we uploaded the music video up to their also and we received feedback through Instagram too. People had tagged other users in also so that their friends were also able to watch and access our music video even if they didn't follow us meaning that more people were able to watch it and receive feedback.

Female Comment -
The shots were well used and the lighting where it changed colours when showing the past was very effective as you could tell her now from the old.
Male Comment -
The effect added onto the old past memories were a good add in as you could tell the difference between the past and the present and it sat well with the music.

Our other social media site that we uploaded it up onto was Twitter
When posting our music video onto Twitter we received re-tweets and likes also where again other people on twitter who didn't necessarily follow us were also able to watch and give comments on the music video.

Female Comment -
The shots on the roundabout was a very well thought out idea and it is a memorable part of the video it sits in my head when that part of the song now plays.
Male Comment -
The speeds shown in the song is displayed well however by having some shots which are too long, ruins it slightly as it almost defeats the object of the shots being short and snappy.

How feedback on social media helped
By posting our music videos onto Social media mean't that we got feedback from people who didn't even follow us which mean't we could get a wide range of comments and feedback which made it successful for us, as we were able to see where we needed to improve on and where we may have made any mistakes.

Textual Analysis - Sia Chandelier

Sia Chandelier This music video is mainly well known for its  choreography as this is a memorable factor, there is no lip syncing - it is just literally Maddie dancing to the meaning of the song. Performance –  Sia doesn't like to star in her own videos, she has Maddie Ziegler a young girl who dancers throughout for her as a dancer. The performance is of Maddie dancing all around an abandoned, neglected location which is dirty and unpleasant. Lyrics -   The words "swinging from a chandelier" is usually know as a metaphor for partying to excess. As she states in the lyrics "party girls don't get hurt" so if she keeps drinking she won't feel the pain that addictions can eventually give.  She si...

Textual analysis of Toxic - Britney Spears

Britney Spears TOXIC Performance – When she is on the phone, it acts as if she is telling the story whereas the shots of her in her white suit is aimed to be more sexual and less story based. She performs every now and then in her see through suit where she dances and its quicker shots. Whereas when she’s walking on the plane its longer shots and slower crops, the shot on the plane tells more of a narrative. She is sexualised throughout the whole of the music video; however, some parts are more sexualised than others are. Shown by the costumes she is in and also movements, she is quite confident and out there, giving her a powerful image. Although the plane is filled with men she is dominant over them. Lyrics - Helps tell the story or give a general feeling or mood. Don...
