Analysis of our digipak

Once we created our digipak we did an analysis on it and we got a few people to help us do this so we got them to look at our digipak and they gave us feedback on it.

First piece of feedback

Good - The digipak was plain however the writing was 'FUNKY' so it made it stand out a lot.
Bad - It may be seen as too plain if you have a different mind set to me.
Improvements - Maybe you could have included one image on it inside maybe

Second piece of feedback

Good - I like the colour choice and I think the writing on the CD looked good.
Bad - I feel like it was a little too plain and that it could do with images.
Improvements - Either use some images or at least some illustrations

Third piece of feedback

Good - The different things on each page was well set out and it sat nicely together
Bad - I think that it could have been made better if there was more colours added onto the colour scheme.
Improvements - Add more colours than just black, white, purple and grey.

Fourth piece of feedback
Good - It's good that it is kept plain and the colours used are all the same so it is neat and memorable.
Bad - It could have more images but of different things.
Improvements - There isn't really any improvements needed as it has everything it needs there on it.

Equipment/Lighting decisions in our music video

Lighting is very important in music videos, as it allows it to be easier to see and also as it sets certain moods and atmospheres. An example of this would be, if we used low amount of lighting then it'll be setting a dull and sad atmosphere which would help highlight the meaning behind the song is not a positive atmosphere. Also the other way round as well, as if a large amount of colour is used then it'll set a more upbeat atmosphere and show that they're more likely to be given a positive media video to see. Textual Analysis - Sia Chandelier

Sia Chandelier This music video is mainly well known for its choreography as this is a memorable factor, there is no lip syncing - it is just literally Maddie dancing to the meaning of the song. Performance – Sia doesn't like to star in her own videos, she has Maddie Ziegler a young girl who dancers throughout for her as a dancer. The performance is of Maddie dancing all around an abandoned, neglected location which is dirty and unpleasant. Lyrics - The words "swinging from a chandelier" is usually know as a metaphor for partying to excess.
